After several years of ownership we have made the difficult choice to move our bookings and managed services to OriginalCottages.co.uk.
From October 2023, new bookings can only be made via websites in the OriginalCottages.co.uk group. All existing bookings will, of course, be honoured.
As this is a very new change, the photos on the new sites are only temporary until professional ones can be done - after the new bathroom has been fitted.
Original Cottages is a family-owned and operated holiday cottage company with over 25 local brands across England and Wales. They offer a wide range of properties to suit all budgets and requirements, from traditional cottages to modern apartments.
Original Cottages is part of the wider 'The Travel Chapter' group who are a national holiday cottage company who own well known holiday cottage brands such as holidaycottages.co.uk.
They also own Caninecottages.co.uk, and since Banjo Cottage is dog friendly this will be an ideal place for people looking to take their dog on holiday to search.
You may not see any signs for OriginalCottages in Looe, but that is because they own Cornish Horizons who do have a large presence in Looe and the surrounding areas of Cornwall. By having a visible office in Looe it gives guests at Banjo a physical place to go if they have questions or need assistance as well as having a 24/7 support phone number.
This means that guests can expect a very high level of service with local staff in town who can come to the property if necessary to resolve any issues.
We didn't really. We chose Cornish Horizons because they have the bricks and mortar shop in West Looe. We felt this was an important feature for guests. It wasn't until we enquired at Cornish Horizons did we find out that they were recently acquired by Original Cottages who in turn are owned by The Travel Chapter.
This gives a much greater reach for customers wanting to find excellent holiday cottages in Looe, and in particular Banjo Cottage.
As Banjo Cottage is dog friendly, as is the whole of Looe, the caninecottages.co.uk site was an added bonus.
