It is found in the bustling heart of East Looe, just off Fore Street up a small hill called Tower Hill. It is perfectly situated to be a few steps from the high street with all it has to offer as well as being less than a minute from the beach. However it is set back enough so it is peaceful even during the busiest of days in Looe.

U.K. holidays in 2025

We all know that the cost of living has gone up significantly but holidays are important for people to be able to relax away from daily life.

Booking for Banjo Cottage is open for 2025 with prices held the same as 2024.

Holidays abroad are great but, with The Independent (22nd July 2023) reporting significant increases in costs of holidays to some of the biggest resorts I.e. Sunny Beach, Bulgaria up 41% and Marmaris, Turkey up 33% these sort of holidays are much more expensive than previous years.

Looe has an amazing beach, lovely cafes and shops and incredible walks along the South West Coastal Path with stunning views. There is plenty to do for all the family and serves as a central base for exploring Cornwall.

For those of you with a nautical inclination there are boat trips from Looe harbour to Polperro or fishing trips lasting from 60 minutes to all day. And for the children, and let’s be honest, the adults too, crabbing from the sea wall along the river is cheap, easy and great fun.

So now if you'd like to book a 3 night long weekend break or a 4 night midweek break then you can do so simply by selecting the dates you'd like your holiday to be and the Cornish Horizons website will give you the price.

Remember with booking a 4 Star property through Cornish Horizons all your towels and bedding is provided (though not beach towels) and the property will be professionally cleaned before you arrive and after you leave so no need to worry about cleaning up when you leave, as you would if you were in an AirBnB. Also you are booking the whole property which sleeps 5 and allows one dog.

This cottage in West Looe sleeps 6 in three bedrooms and two bathrooms and allows for one dog. It has a lovely, enclosed, garden and views over West Looe and beyond. Weathervane Cottage benefits from parking space and an indoor log burner.

Ferry View sleeps 6 in three bedrooms. It is also in West Looe (not the main beach side) and has a modern feel to it, with a spiral staircase. It benefits from floor to ceiling windows in the living room and one of the double bedrooms.

A three story villa that sleeps 6, set in East Looe, slightly outside the main town center. Overdale has decking out the front that allows for lovely views over the River Looe and is half a mile from the beach.

Sleeps 4 in two bedrooms Aurora is found in the Hannafore area of West Looe, which means it has a slightly longer walk to get to the main Looe Beach, however Aurora does benefit from a lovely view of Looe and the main beach as well as being very close to Hannafore's beach area which does allow dogs on it.
