Cornish Horizons was founded in 1991 by Peter and Sue Taylor. They started the business with a small selection of cottages in Looe, Cornwall. Over the years, Cornish Horizons has grown to become one of the leading holiday cottage  letting agencies in Cornwall, with over 700 cottages to choose from.

In 2006, Cornish Horizons was acquired by The Original Cottage Company Limited, a small group of locally focused brands. The Original Cottage Company is committed to providing high quality holiday experiences in beautiful locations. They have a team of experienced staff who are passionate about Cornwall and are dedicated to helping their customers find the perfect holiday home.

Cornish Horizons is still family run today. Peter and Sue Taylor are still involved in the business, and their son, Mark, is the managing director. Cornish Horizons is committed to providing excellent customer service and to offering a wide range of cottages to suit all budgets and groups. They are also committed to supporting the local community and to promoting sustainable tourism in Cornwall.

Here are some of the milestones in the history of Cornish Horizons:

• 1991: Cornish Horizons is founded by Peter and Sue Taylor.
• 2000: Cornish Horizons expands to include cottages in other parts of Cornwall.
• 2006: Cornish Horizons is acquired by The Original Cottage Company Limited.
• 2010: Cornish Horizons launches its website.
• 2015: Cornish Horizons opens a new office in St Ives.
• 2020: Cornish Horizons launches its mobile app.
• 2023: Banjo Cottage is added to Cornish Horizons properties

At Banjo Cottage we are keen to ensure that everything runs smoothly for our guests.  Cornish Horizons having a bricks and mortar presence in Looe was one of the key reasons that we felt they were a good fit for Banjo Cottage.  The offices are found on Quay Road, West Looe, between the Portbyhan Hotel and the Tasty Corner Cafe

If guests have any issues during their holiday they know that there is a place to go to speak to a member of the Cornish Horizons' team and someone can resolve any queries straight away or just answer any questions about Looe and the surrounding areas, whether it is car parking in Looe  or which are dog friendly beaches the staff will have the local knowledge.
