Found in the heart of East Looe, just off the main street, Banjo Cottage is a holiday cottage that is 1 minute walk from the beach and less than a minute from the high street where guests can enjoy the many local shops, cafes and pubs that Looe has to offer.
It is the perfect holiday cottage for families who want to spend time on the beach, enjoy walking holidays along the South West Coastal Path or as a base to explore the beautiful county of Cornwall.
Banjo Cottage is a deceptively spacious, converted 18th century workshop, set on three floors. Sleeps 5 people in two en-suite rooms.
There is a South facing balcony to enjoy views over Looe town and the sea.
Availability in 2024
Banjo Cottage has some availability in November and December 2024.
We have blocked out end of November and beginning of December to have a new bath with shower fitted in the second bathroom. This will mean that there are showers in both bathrooms and a new bath in the second bathroom. We’ve taken this decision following comments from previous guests.
Looe is an incredible place to spend December with many Christmas activities planned including the annual turning on of the lights with a lantern parade through the town.
Don’t miss the opportunity to have a short break holiday in Looe in early Winter and the Christmas holiday where you can enjoy sitting on the balcony watching the world go by. Or for the more active walks along the scenic South West Coast path to Polperro or Seaton.

Accommodation will offer a very good to excellent overall standard of quality with equipment and furnishings presented in a comfortable and very good condition, in full working order and well maintained. Bed linen and towels will be included in the cost of the holiday.

Perfect cottage for a winter break, crab sandwiches, pasties, fresh fish and cream teas all walked off by the sea. Great welcome in Ye Olde Salutation for pre-dinner drinks, Daisy’s for scones & Pengelly’s for whatever has come off the boats. Thank you!
